Sports and Games:
The students have the facility of indoor games like Carom, Chess. The college is fortunate to have a large ground for sports in front of the college building. The college regularly participates in various outdoor Sports, such as football, cricket and athletics. The Annual college sports are regularly held during winter.
Social and Cultural Activities:
A host of social and cultural activities mark the college calendar. The Students’ Union actively helps the college authority in arranging cultural programme, inter-class debate, Quiz, cultural and literary competitions. All these activities aim at developing a sense of brotherhood among students of the college and to make them good citizens. The college magazine ‘Oikyotan’ is published annually and the wall magazine ‘Hoimontika’ is published occasionally by the Students’ Union. Also many departments have published wall magazines separately.
National Service Scheme (NSS):
The college is enriched with the three NSS units that aim to include the rural youth in constructive and developmental programme in the rural sector and to encourage their participation in the socio-economic life of the community with fostering national integration. Last year the NSS units take a great role for community sensitization by organizing the ‘Thalassemia Test & Awareness Camp’, this year also these units has successfully organized the ‘Winter Special Camp’.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):
The IQAC of the college is acting supportively to ensure the internal quality for both academic and infrastructural development. It has been formed on 2009 and running on. It is presently engaged to restore the improvement of teaching-learning process through introducing naval motivations.
Besides imparting education, teachers help the students to tide over difficulties that might hamper the proper development of their personality. Modern life abounds is stress-provoking situations and young students often fall prey to them. They are not always able to successfully overcome these stress situations. To help the students out of such difficulties a Counselling Cell has been setup in the college.
Grievance Redressal Cell:
The grievances of the employees are normally looked into and settled by the Principal. Complaints of students are resolved either by Principal himself or with the help of teachers as required and according to the circumstances of each case. The college has set up a Grievance Redressal Cell to address the complaints and grievances of students and staff. The Complaint Box also has been installed in this regard.
The Anti-Ragging Cell is the most important one that has been set up to ensure students' freedom and security at the college premises.
Equal Opportunity Cell:
The Equal Opportunity Cell has been set up to address the need and grievance of the SC, ST, OBC and Minority students and the staff.
Free studentship and Aid Fund:
Certain concession in fees in the forms of granting full free studentship, half-free studentship, quarter-free studentship are awarded to poor but meritorious students and also assistance from the students’ Aid Fund is available. State Govt. and other funds for this purpose are fully utilized. BPL card holders get the benefit from this fund.
